Career Highlights
Signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft. He put together a spectacular final preseason game— grading out with a team-high 93.7 PFF grade—to shock evaluators and secure an active 53-man roster spot. He appeared in all 17 regular-season games, logging 20 total tackles while establishing himself as the team's premium kickoff coverage asset by playing 73% of the special teams snaps. Entering his sophomore campaign under new defensive coordinator Chris O'Leary, Wax has been heavily labeled as one of the biggest standout winners of August practices. Pushing past higher draft choices like Junior Colson, O'Leary highly praised Wax’s physical growth, noting, “When he hits people in the box, they go backwards.”
Personal Life
Wax was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and is the son of Dara Ryan. He grew up with two brothers and one sister and attended Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore.
